High School Math Program (HSM)

Our High School Math programs are all enrichment programs created to gear students into the top 10% of students in Ontario.  These programs are taught in small group educational settings (15 or less students).  By obtaining top tier grades in high school, students are able to gain many benefits, which include:

University Acceptances

Top tier marks, especially in mathematics, is by far the biggest factor that plays into whether a student gains entrance into a prestigious university program.  Being in the top 10% of Ontario in terms of grades in math is certain to play a pivotal role in a student being accepted into their program of choice.

Grade 12 mathematics courses, particularly Advanced Functions and Calculus, is often a required course for many university entrance averages including but not limited to the following programs:

  • Business & Commerce
  • Computer Science
  • Health & Life Sciences
  • All types of Engineering

Scholarships

It is not very often that marks in school can be directly translated into monetary gains or savings.  However, with scholarships, it is widely possible.  Many scholarships require a minimum grade average for students to achieve to obtain it (ex: entrance scholarships that are offered to all students). The top scholarship amounts can be as much as tens of thousands of dollars per year at most universities!

Employment

In high school, students often do not have any work experience, therefore top tier grades could be a deciding factor for many employers that are interested in employing high school students.
